Norwich, the administrative centre of Norfolk, is dominated by the Cathedral and Castle and rose to prominence in the medieval times when it rivaled London in wealth, as a result of the wool trade. The City is said to have a church for every week of the year and a pub for every day. Norwich has a wealth of history and culture, with the central streets following their medieval design, surrounded by the remains of the City’s ancient walls.
